Christopher Gray, MS, LCGC

I have been a genetic counselor in the Roberts Individualized Medical Genetics Center and the Division of Human Genetics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since 2018. I provide genetic counseling to patients who have been referred for the diagnosis and management of many pediatric genetic disorders. As part of my work, I consider it a great privilege to be able to participate in the care of our SKDEAS population here at CHOP.  When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy contributing to the work of the SKDEAS Foundation alongside an amazing team of impassioned families, clinicians, and scientists, all working together to expand our understanding of this diagnosis and connect our growing global community.

I am originally from just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I received my Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Biology and Molecular Genetics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, before obtaining my Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Toronto. During my clinical training at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, I grew a particular affinity for working with undiagnosed and rare disease populations. The tenacity of these patients and the motivation of their parents/guardians left a profound impact on me. In my personal life, I enjoy baking bread on weekends, running, and enjoying the outdoors with my dog, Rudy!
